What moves the number
The biggest swing is the type of water. Clean water from a supply line is the least expensive because most materials can be dried. Gray and black water need protective gear, disposal and disinfecting, and porous materials come out.
The second swing is time. Water that sits more than a day soaks into framing, and in Georgia humidity mold begins soon after. A job started the same night is usually a smaller job.
Location matters too. Basements and crawl spaces on clay soil often need repeat pumping while the ground stays saturated, and a finished basement carries more materials to remove.
What this calculator does not include
- Plumbing repairs and drainage or waterproofing work
- Rebuilding, painting and new flooring
- Mold remediation, if growth is already present
- Night and weekend labor on large commercial losses
Services that match this
- Hydrostatic Clay-Bowl Water ExtractionGroundwater forced through foundation cracks and cove joints after days of rain gets pumped out, then the slab, walls and framing are dried to readings.
- Low-Elevation Flash Flood MitigationHeavy runoff from higher lots and creeks pushes muddy water over thresholds. Crews pump, clear silt and dry floors and walls in low properties.
- Crawl Space Sewage & Category 3 DecontaminationSewer line breaks and municipal backups send category 3 water under the house. We remove, decontaminate and sanitize the crawl space in full gear.

Questions about this tool
Is this the price I will pay?
No. It is a typical range for jobs like the one you describe. The exact number comes after a crew reads the moisture and sees the materials.
Why is the range so wide?
Because the same square footage can mean a quick extraction or a multi-day dry-out, depending on depth, materials and time.
Does it include insurance?
No. It shows what the work typically costs. Whether your policy pays depends on the policy and the cause of the water.
What should I do after I see the range?
Stop the source, move belongings up and call. Photos taken before anything moves help your claim and our plan.
